The bench installation is located in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea and features a naturalistic design that extends outwards from the center to call to mind tree roots.
The ‘Root Bench’ is the design work of Yong Ju Lee who utilizes a computer algorithm in order to achieve the ethereal exterior furniture piece and is a winning proposal that was submitted to the Hangang Art Competition.
