The conceptual ‘Black Villa’ has been designed by Reza Mohtashami as a home imagined in the hills of the Harriman State Park in New York to help bring a stylish yet eco-conscious dwelling to the forest. The home maintains an ultra-modern design that is finished with a green roof that will work to provide better insulation against heat thanks to a 30 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit difference when compared to conventional roofing. A series of skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows help to reduce the need for artificial lighting during the day, while the aforementioned roof also helps with drainage.
The conceptual ‘Black Villa’ merges itself with the surrounding landscape to make it a comfortably charming addition to the environment.
